GTA 6 Antagonists: Who's the Villain?
Short answer: nobody knows yet. Rockstar hasn't named or shown a clear antagonist in either trailer, and treat anyone claiming otherwise with real suspicion.
Not officially confirmed
No character has been identified by Rockstar as GTA 6's antagonist. Names circulating online are fan speculation, not confirmed casting.
Why This Is Genuinely Unknown
Both trailers focus almost entirely on Jason and Lucia — their relationship, their circumstances, glimpses of the wider world of Leonida. Neither trailer spends meaningful time on a clear opposing force the way, say, GTA V's marketing eventually leaned into Devin Weston or Steve Haines. That's not unusual this early: Rockstar has historically kept major antagonists close to the chest until much closer to release, sometimes until the game itself.
What the Series' History Actually Tells Us
Every mainline GTA has had a real antagonist eventually — Sonny Forelli in Vice City, Dimitri Rascalov in GTA IV, the tangle of federal agents and business rivals across GTA V. Given that unbroken pattern, it would be genuinely surprising if GTA 6 didn't have one too. The closest thing to a candidate right now is among the confirmed supporting cast — though none of them has been framed by Rockstar as an antagonist specifically. That's a reasonable expectation based on 25 years of the series doing the same thing — it is not the same as knowing who it is, and we're not going to guess.
