GTA 6 Vehicle Types

The Vehicles hub lists categories with links; this page explains the categorization itself — why these four types, what visual evidence supports each, and the canonical naming standard every vehicle on this site follows.

Where These Categories Come From

Four vehicle types have direct visual evidence across GTA 6's two trailers: cars, motorcycles, boats, and aircraft are each shown in motion at least once. That visual confirmation — not a Rockstar-published taxonomy — is the basis for how vehicles are organized on this site. We haven't split these into further sub-types (sports cars, sedans, etc.) because doing so would mean categorizing based on visual impression rather than anything Rockstar has actually confirmed.

Types & Evidence

Cars

Visually confirmed throughout both trailers. One named example from trailer footage: the Vapid Creado, Jason Duval's personal vehicle. A second, the '55 Vapid Stanier, is confirmed separately as pre-order bonus content. Full comparison on our Cars page.

Motorcycles

Visually confirmed in trailer footage. Full detail on the dedicated Motorcycles page.

Boats & Watercraft

Visually confirmed, consistent with Leonida's coastline. Full detail on the dedicated Boats & Watercraft page.

Aircraft

Limited but present visual evidence. Full detail on the dedicated Aircraft page.

Canonical Naming

Every vehicle on this site is referred to by its exact Rockstar-confirmed name — "Vapid Creado," not "the Creado" or "Jason's car" — consistently across every page it appears on. Vehicles without an official name are described by type only; we don't assign unofficial names to fill a gap.
