GTA 6 Open World Activities

The Gameplay pillar briefly mentions the everyday environments Jason and Lucia are shown in; this page covers each one in more detail — and is careful about the difference between a location appearing on screen and an activity being confirmed as something you can actually do.

Shown vs. confirmed as playable

Seeing a location in a trailer confirms it exists in the world. It doesn't automatically confirm what you can actually do there as a player, or whether it's a full activity system versus a backdrop for a story scene. We keep those two things separate below rather than assuming one means the other.

Boxing Gym

A boxing gym appears in trailer footage as a location Jason and/or Lucia visit. Whether this is a playable minigame, a one-off story setting, or something else hasn't been confirmed — only that the location itself is real.

Nightclubs

Vice City nightlife — nightclubs specifically — appear across trailer footage, consistent with the city's established identity going back to the original 2002 game. No nightclub-related gameplay system (ownership, management, or otherwise) has been confirmed for GTA 6.

General World Traversal

Both trailers show Jason and Lucia driving, walking, and moving through Vice City and the wider Leonida region — confirming open-world traversal exists, in line with every mainline GTA game. Specific traversal mechanics (swimming, climbing, or anything beyond basic movement) haven't been detailed.
