GTA 6 Vehicles

Cars, motorcycles, boats, and aircraft all appear across GTA 6's trailers — but Rockstar has officially named only two vehicles so far. Here's what's real, and why most "200+ confirmed vehicles" lists you'll see elsewhere aren't what they claim to be.

What "Confirmed" Actually Means Here

Both trailers show a wide variety of vehicles in motion — that part is real and visible to anyone watching. What's not real is the specific named rosters ("146 confirmed vehicles," "over 200 confirmed") that circulate across fan sites. Those lists are built by matching trailer footage to real-world car designs and cross-referencing leaked development data — useful community detective work, but not the same thing as Rockstar actually naming a vehicle. We only list a vehicle here once Rockstar itself has named it.

What Is Confirmed

Vehicle customization is real: trailer footage shows visibly modified cars, and mod shop signage appears on screen, which Rockstar has acknowledged. Beyond that, exactly two vehicles have an official, Rockstar-confirmed name.

Officially Named Vehicles

By Category

Every vehicle type shown across trailers falls into one of these categories. As Rockstar names more vehicles, they're added to the matching category below — the categories themselves won't change. See our Vehicle Types page for the full reasoning behind this categorization.

Customization

Mod shops are confirmed — trailer footage shows shop signage and visibly modified vehicles in the world. Rockstar hasn't detailed the specific customization system yet (what's upgradable, how deep it goes), so we're not speculating on the mechanics. See our full Customization Guide as more is confirmed.
