GTA 6 Platforms, Editions & Pricing
Grand Theft Auto 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has confirmed pricing, two editions, and pre-order bonuses — here's exactly what's confirmed, what isn't, and what each edition actually includes.
Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive have kept this release deliberately simple: two console platforms, two editions, no physical discs. Pre-orders opened June 25, 2026, and Take-Two has repeatedly reaffirmed the November 19 date in shareholder communications since — most recently this month — making it one of the more stable release timelines the studio has held to for a major launch.
Confirmed Platforms
PlayStation 5
GTA 6 launches on PS5 on November 19, 2026, as a digital-only release with a downloadable code even for boxed retail purchases.
Xbox Series X|S
GTA 6 launches on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on the same November 19, 2026 date, with no platform-exclusive content confirmed either way.
PC Release
Not yet confirmed. Full detail on Rockstar's PC release history and what that does and doesn't tell us is on the dedicated PC page.
Editions & Pricing
Unlike GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 6 ships with only two options — no Collector's Edition has been confirmed (though Rockstar hasn't ruled one out). Every edition contains the identical core story campaign; the Ultimate Edition adds cosmetic and convenience content on top, not gameplay advantages.

The complete GTA 6 story campaign with Jason and Lucia. Includes the Vintage Vice City pre-order pack (see below) and one free month of GTA+.
Ultimate Edition
Everything in Standard, plus an extensive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and five exclusive single-player shops that unlock progressively as Jason and Lucia's story advances — not all at once.
Standard Edition owners can purchase the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately at any time after launch — you don't have to decide now.
Pre-Order Bonus: Vintage Vice City Pack
Every digital pre-order — Standard or Ultimate — includes the Vintage Vice City Pack at no extra cost: a retro '80s-styled '55 Vapid Stanier sedan with its own personal garage near Ocean Beach, matching outfits and hairstyles for both Jason and Lucia, and a Vice-City-inspired weapon pattern. It's available on any digital purchase made before November 20, 2026.
Platform & Pricing FAQ
What's in the Ultimate Edition, Specifically
Among the Ultimate Edition's premium vehicles: the '95 Grotti Cheetah, a retro-styled sports car; the Dinka Enduro, an off-road dual-sport motorcycle; and the Crest Kayak, useful for Leonida's extensive coastline and waterways. These unlock progressively as Jason and Lucia's story advances, not all at once. Full vehicle coverage — including what's confirmed outside the Ultimate Edition — lives on our Vehicles hub.
